How to Measure Fully Assembled Fire Doors

These sizes are for the door leaf only, excluding frame and/or threshold measurements.

Remove the architrave to see the full opening.

Measure across the width (excluding frame) at the top, middle and bottom of the opening and use the largest size as your width measurement.

Do the same for the height at the left and right of the opening. Note down the largest measurement again.

When choosing your size, make sure to:
-Allow for suitable fire stopping around the door frame.
-Note what the final finish floor level is (eg with carpets removed)
-Factor in the height of any thresholds to be added
